Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology (GKCIET), Malda has established a Central Workshop of 880 sq. m. under the Department of Mechanical Engineering to facilitate teaching-learning and research activities of all departments.

The central workshop have properly equipped and well maintained facilities for both undergraduate and diploma students as per AICTE norms. Workshop and equipments includes Machine shop, Welding shop, Carpentry shop, Fitting shop, Smithy & Forging shop, CAD/CAM design lab, general fabrication facilities and Milling, Turning machining center, Surface grinding, Metrology equipment, etc.
